The Vision for Real Soldiers of Christ was birthed in 2009 when Mathias Mulumba had an encounter with the Lord.  He received a dream that he was fighting with scorpions and snakes from the bush.  He explains: “We entered a State House from behind.  After capturing it I was given authority with very many armies on my side.  The soldiers were wearing combats.  I had three badges on the shoulders.  There were three horses.  I was riding one plus two other generals.  There were very many armies. There was a palace that everyone would fear to enter in.  There were some weird, scary creatures you could not understand.  It takes a heart to go in there.  I received the courage that I was doing it for the Kingdom of God and that God would help me. 

There was also a light in the dream and even when I woke up I saw it.  It looked as if the roof was not on the house.  Then later it disappeared and then the house went back to normal and it was still dark.

From there I received the courage to do everything for the Lord and the assurance that He would be with us in everything. I looked up 1 Chronicles 11:18 which talks about the genuine solder and the three famous soldiers.  When he went in a conference there was a visitor who taught about soldiers from the book of Ephesians 6:11 where we are told to put on the full armour of God.  This was a confirmation which opened my eyes.  At this time there was another preacher was talking about the wounded soldiers who could rise again and put the city on fire. The Holy Spirit led him to read these scriptures.  In Isaiah 30:11-18

God spoke to me in Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

In the dream I received this scripture reference and woke up and asked my mother where to find it.  We read the whole chapter.

In the same season I received a word from God.  I heard it as a normal voice, ‘You wake up and lift the banner of the Lord.  If you don’t, what you have will be taken away from you.'”
